Kartoon Studios has added Jeffrey Schlesinger to its board, tapping the longtime international TV distribution executive to help drive global growth and monetization efforts.

Schlesinger spent decades as president of Warner Bros. worldwide television distribution, orchestrating the international sales and syndication of major series including Friends, The Big Bang Theory and Game of Thrones, and overseeing hits such as Two and a Half Men.

He also led the overseas expansion of Warner Bros. Animation’s vast catalogue — more than 10,000 episodes from properties like Looney Tunes, Hanna‑Barbera, Merrie Melodies, Scooby‑Doo, The Flintstones and Justice League — and managed TV distribution for franchise tentpoles including Batman, Harry Potter and The Lord of the Rings.

After departing Warner Bros. in 2021, Schlesinger launched his consultancy Former Bros. Media and in 2022 joined the board of content marketplace Vuulr following an equity investment.
